Ivy & Bean (Book 1) (Bk. 1) Review

I have read the first book to my first grade class and they loved it. They ask me everyday if I am going to read Ivy and Bean and if I say we don't have time they all groan. Every time I tell them it's time to read Ivy and Bean they cheer, literally cheer! When I finish reading one chapter aloud they beg me to read another. We are currently reading the second one and they are enjoying too. They are all engaged, even the boys and they get a kick out of the funny things the girls do. The illustrations on every page also help to keep them engaged. It is a great transition into chapter books. I look forward to reading the rest of them.
